Acme Material Handling Limited is a specialty rental store that is equipped to manage your most challenging bulk material handling needs.

Our HD Soil & Rock Blower Unit, Mini Conveyors, Load Transfer Conveyor, On-Site Soil & Stone Slinger and HD Power Buggies provide numerous options and combinations to efficiently move and place large quantities of growing medium or gravel to locations inaccessible with conventional equipment like loaders, bobcats, blades and excavators.

Our Express TM-45 Heavy Duty Soil and Rock Blower at 300 hp is the most powerful blower built in North America and the only one operating in British Columbia. The blower is mounted on a self contained 43’ tri-axle trailer. With a highway tractor our blower is capable of hauling 40 c.y. of material mulch or humus. The most cost effective method of blowing however is having the blower unit stationary so it can blow continuously. Our 40 c.y. blower hopper can be supplied with material from ACME’s moving floor trailer or your suppliers’ dump trucks.

For soil or rock blowing jobs in excess of 100 c.y. Acme has available a Highway Tractor and Moving Floor Trailer combination with 40 c.y. capacity for compost or 32 c.y. capacity for manufactured growing medium. This tractor trailer unit in combination with our Load Transfer Conveyor is capable of delivering and unloading 40 c.y. of material per load or approximately 120 c.y. per day into the blower hopper without the need for an operator and loader.

Under ideal conditions this four piece equipment combination is capable of trucking, loading and placing up to 120 c.y. of material per day or more to difficult locations.

When soil or rock blowing distances exceed 125’ blower discharge capacity decreases significantly. At 200’ a blower’s discharge capacity is halved. For blowing distances greater than 125’ we are able to maintain optimum discharge capacity for up to 450’ by offering our Mini-Conveyors system.

Acme’s Mini-Conveyors are also ideal as standalone units for transporting bulk materials such as earth fill, aggregates, concrete rubble and growing medium to or from non-accessible locations like basements or backyards.

If bulk material needs to be transported shorter distances after blowing or mini-conveying, we can supply HD Power Buggies for receiving, dumping and placing material. If final locations are suitable for a stone slinger our On-site Soil and Rock Slinger can sling and spread soil or aggregate to final preparation condition at distances of up to 45’.

Our on-site soil and rock slinger can operate as a stand alone unit that can be loaded with an excavator, bobcat or loader. Our slinger has the same capacity as a conventional stone slinger but since it doesn’t leave the site, is able to sling stone continuously if a stockpile of material is on site.

For projects where a stinger truck or crane is more suitable we offer a Crane Bucket that has been professionally engineered. With 3000 lb. or one yard capacity the bucket is suitable for growing medium or gravel.
